How it works: Create a comic book of what happened to: Solve the mystery (find the problem which caused the behavior). Help the child to reflect on alternative ways to express their needs. The comic book mystery uses the principals of reflective practice (also known as reflective justice) to help children to process their choices. It opens conversation using a collaborative, non-threatening, positive approach that supports the child and adult in identifying the why (problem) and solving it together.
